Privacy Notice

Policy version 2026-09-21

Kyle Plovie, operating as Voxelix, handles information to run this invitation-only alpha. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions, corrections, or account/content removal requests.

Account and age information

Registration processes a username, password, invite code, and birthdate used to assess eligibility. This version stores your declared age at the time of assessment, the assessment date, your declaration of guardian permission when required by our terms, and the policy version and time you accepted. It does not store the full birthdate in the account database. Account registration does not request an email address. Passwords are stored as Argon2id hashes rather than plaintext.

We also store account identifiers, creation and login dates, roles, account status, and applicable warnings or bans. If you email support, your email address, message, and attachments are received in our support inbox. Do not include passwords, authentication codes, or unnecessary identity documents.

Profiles, games, and progress

We store profile text, avatar choices, friend requests and relationships, favorites, inventory, virtual-currency activity, and account-linked game joining records. Uploaded games include their titles, descriptions, visibility settings, place files, scripts, assets, and revisions. Game scripts can save player-associated progress and other game-defined state.

Public player pages show usernames, bios, avatars, join dates, membership information, and public games. Public game listings show creator and game information. Invitation-only registration does not make these public pages private. Other players receive character and gameplay information needed for interaction.

Chat and technical records

Room, team, and whisper chat is processed by the game server and delivered to the relevant recipients. The built-in chat handler does not maintain a database chat history. Recipients can save messages, and messages included in reports or support correspondence can be retained. Whispers are not end-to-end encrypted.

We use the necessary vx_alpha login cookie, session tokens, and short-lived game tickets. The supplied configuration uses 14-day website sessions. Session and audit records include account identifiers, timestamps, an IP address as reported through our server/proxy setup, client user-agent information, and event details. Expiration of a session does not automatically erase its database record.

The Windows client writes local diagnostic logs on your device. These log files are not automatically uploaded by the client. Information you voluntarily send to support becomes support correspondence. Our application does not include advertising trackers; infrastructure providers may process technical information for delivery and security.

Uses and recipients

We use information to authenticate users, deliver games and creator features, store progress and virtual items, moderate abuse, secure the service, investigate errors, and respond to requests. Authorized operators can access relevant backend information for those purposes.

The platform is hosted on an operator-managed server. Cloudflare processes service traffic and forwards support emails; Google Gmail receives and stores support correspondence. These providers may process data in other countries under their own service arrangements. We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to address abuse, protect rights or safety, or resolve a security incident. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Retention, recovery backups, and removal

Active account information, creations, and game progress are retained while needed to provide those features. Security, moderation, support, and agreement records are retained while needed for their purpose, including relevant disputes or legal obligations. These categories do not all have a 30-day deletion period.

We maintain daily recovery backups under a rolling 30-day schedule. Backups older than 30 days are removed during scheduled rotation. Backup copies have restricted access and are used for recovery and necessary security or legal purposes. A specific backup may need to be preserved longer for an identified legal obligation or incident; that exception is not a general license to retain everything indefinitely.

Request account or content removal at [email protected]. We may need to establish that you control the account, without asking for your password. We review removal requests manually. Limited records may need to remain for an identified legal, security, or dispute-related reason. Copies in existing recovery backups can remain until rotation; if a backup is restored, completed removals must be reapplied before affected data returns to normal use. Making a game private or logging out is not a deletion request.

Age eligibility and updates

This alpha is for people aged 16 or older. Age eligibility is self-reported, not independently identity-verified. If you believe someone under 16 has an account, contact support so we can restrict access and review removal. A parent or guardian can also contact us about a teenager's participation.

We identify notice versions and make them available on this website. Material changes will be brought to account holders' attention through the account review screen. Security measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee that data will never be lost or accessed improperly.
